On 31 March, 2011 the 5th Marine Regiment and supporters celebrated a long-standing military tradition as 5th Marines said goodbye to Col Willy Buhl and welcomed Col Roger Turner back to the Regiment. Col Turner has served the Fighting Fifth with 2/5, 3/5 and Headquarters in tours past. Col Buhl will be heading to New York to work at the Council on Foreign Relations.Juan Duff and Marty Vasquez attended the ceremony, representing the 1st Marine Division Association.
